Homemade Blueberry Sauce
This simple Homemade Blueberry Sauce has become a summer fav. It is a sweet, tart sauce that you can use over ice cream, waffles, even Greek yogurt.
Place them in the pan with the sugar and lime juice and bring to a quick boil. Reduce the heat for a minute or so to let thicken and stir in the vanilla. I like these kind of recipes!

Homemade Blueberry Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/4 - 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Wash and crush blueberries; add sugar, lemon juice and salt. Mix well. In a small saucepan, bring blueberry mixture to a boil; boil 1 minute. Add vanilla. Chill.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
