Pecan Tootsie Cookies

Mini pecan pies make with. cream cheese pie dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 3 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp pecans (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, butter and cream cheese. Divid dough into little balls and place in mini muffin pan. Make a center in them to form a mini piece crust. Place in freezer for 10 -15 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl mix remaining ingredients together. 
  4. Remove pans from freezer and place 1 teaspoon of filling in each.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
