4 anchovy filets (optional)
2 large garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon mustard
1/3 cup olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Juice from 1/2 a lemon
Sea Salt
Freshly cracked black pepper
Head of Romaine lettuce, clean and chopped
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup croutons
Instructions
- In a small bowl place the garlic, mustard, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice and blend with a hand mixer or whisk together.
- Dry the romaine well and place in a large bowl. Add the parmesan cheese and croutons in the bowl and toss with the dressing. Place on the plate and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
