Hands-On Cooking Class

Join Surfas as we make all things tarts, we will be making a sinful Chocolate and Hazelnut tart topped with creamy Meringue. In class we be practicing our meringue skills and talking about the science behind it. Next we will move onto a lime curd tart with lime caramel, we will be mastering the art of curd making and caramel as well. To top it all off we will be making a free-form rustic berry galette. This class is a great way to start of spring time right, hope to see you there.

Welcome to Adventures In The Kitchen. Here is our current calendar of classes. We create classes for the home cook to be inspired by a new dish or to take home a new technique. Make new friends as you create your meal and then sit down to enjoy together.
By registering for or enrolling in a Adventures In The Kitchen class you agree to our policies as follows:
All classes are confirmed upon completion of registration for online registrations. A confirmation is automatically sent to the email address as provided in the order. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start as students are required to check in and classes start on time.
Exchanges, Credits and Refunds
Should you need to cancel a reservation for this class, you will receive a full refund for any cancellation made seven (7) days or more before the class date. Cancellations made six (6) days or fewer before the class date will incur a 30% “cost of goods” fee (based on the total fee paid) with the remainder put on a cooking class voucher that can be applied toward a future class, however, no refunds, exchanges or vouchers will be given to changes or cancellations made on the day of the class or for no shows – without exception.
Reservations are fully transferable and if you are welcome to have someone else attend in your place without notice. Changes and cancellations may be made by calling us during business hours at 714-497-0724 and speaking directly to one of our employees. In the event we cancel a class a full refund will be given.
Substitutions and Class Format
We reserve the right to substitute ingredients, menus, recipes, chefs and instructors. Unless noted otherwise, all of our classes are hands on and participatory in style.
