Hi Nancy,

I am a big fan of Suzanne Goin. You'll notice I credit that the salad is based on her recipe in the blog entry above. She uses raw almonds and blood oranges topped with almond oil. I toasted the almonds, used clementines and served with a Champagne Honey Vinaigrette recipe I include. Thanks for visiting Adventures In the Kitchen!

This is almost the exact salad published in Suzanne Goin's book, Sunday Suppers at Lucques. It also may be included in her book, Market to Table.

I think that hers is the original recipe.

HI Cheri, I found your site through the Chic Chic widget but wanted to stop by and say Hi since I'm a #10in10'er too. I just told all the folks on Twitter I've lost 8 lbs and 6 inches since starting #10in10. I've also started drinking more water and trimmed 3 minutes of my 3 mile run time. I just love arugula, I'm planning to grow my own in the garden this year. I can't wait to try your recipe using homegrown leaves.

Wow--that salad looks good!!

I wish you the best with your healthy goals. Sadly, I'm not very concerned with healthy eating--I just eat what tastes good!! Some day I may have to make adjustments! My health-related goal for 2010 is to continue with my daily walks of 4 miles per day and weight training, which I hate but do anyway because I have to support my eating habit!!
